USB driver installation
When you connect the MCP for the first time you will ask for the USB driver installation.
The drivers are available for download at CPflight website. To install the drivers follows these steps:
- Download the file "usbdriver.zip" at http://www.cpflight.com/sito/downloads/downloads.asp
- Files are in a compressed archive .zip; unzip the files in a temporarily folder…
- Connect the USB cable to the MCP737 USB connector and the other side to a free USB port of your computer…
- Connect the DC power adapter to the MCP737 and plug the adapter to a main supply socket.
The computer has to be switched on when you connect the MCP for the first time…
- The driver installation procedure will start automatically; follows the instruction on the screen
(note that the figure of the following example may be different depending by your operating system)…

| When you will ask to connect to Menus Update to search for software select
"No, not this time" and click next to continue… |
Select "Install from a list or specific location" and click next to continue… |

| Browse the temporarily folder where you have unzipped the files and click next to continue… |
You will be informed that the driver has not been subordinate to Menus Logo testing click
"Continue Anyway"… The drivers will be installed in the system; click "Finish" when prompted. |

Important notes: Depending by the system you may be required to repeat the driver installation two times.
During the USB drivers installation the system assign a number to the communication port.

Check your configuration in the Windows Control panel -> System Property -> Device Manager Tab.
On the (COM & LPT) port you will see "CPflight serial adapter (COM n)" where "n" is the assigned
communication port number, you will use this number in the First set up.

XPlane Communication driver installation
Impotant Note: please pay attention to download from CPflight web site the correct type of communication driver.
Download InstXplane_xxx.zip to install the communication driver for XPLANE. ( xxx is the release number )
Please to install the driver follow this procedure:
- Download the file "InstXPlane_xxx.zip"( where xxx is the release number ) at http://www.cpflight.com/sito/downloads/downloads.asp
- The file is compressed into .zip archive; please unzip the exe file in a temporarily folder…
- Click on InstXPlane_xxx.exe to start the installation program. Follow the installation steps and at the end click on finish button.
- Important Note: Install the driver under Plugins folder of Xplane.
- Run Xplane and load a flight. You'll can see the new CPflight title into add-on menů of Xplane (see Picture 1)

| The first window is the welcome window, please click Next > to proceed |
The second window allow you to select the installation folder ( browse button ) else click Next > to proceed |

| In the third window you can change the shortcut name of start menu folder, click Next > to proceed |
Fourth window give you a report about your installation setup. Click to Install to start the installation
and after click on Finish button to terminate the installation procedure. |

XPlane Communication driver
Impotant Note: using this driver you can communicate with FSX with MCP737EL, MCP737USB, MCP737PRO, FCU320 and all CPflight modules.
