MCP737PRO is a full scale replica of Boeing 737 MODE CONTROL PANEL.
The module is complete and ready to use and interface with Microsoft Flight Simulator
through Project Magenta.
MCP737PRO is connected to the PC through USB. Package include an universal
power supply adapter and USB cable. USB driver and test program software can be free downloaded
at CPflight web site download page.

MCP737PRO interfaces with Microsoft Flight Simulator through Project Magenta MCP software.
The MCP737PRO hardware establish an interface with PM software; logics, operating modes and
aircraft behavior are managed by PM software.
MCP737PRO is equipped with high quality level components. Optical encoder, autothrottle ARM switch with electromagnetic disengage,
bank selector knob and Engravity custom solutions for frontplate and pushbuttons give a high fidelity performances and a never
seen realism. Knobs are made in aluminium dust-coated with printed symbols on course knobs.
MCP737PRO have white digit display and warm white backlight.
MCP737PRO comes provided with wide expansion capability through the DIN 5 pole auxiliary socket. This allows you to connect
and interface CPflight plug&play expansion modules (like radio panels and MIP737 expansion board).
You may add modules at anytime; the MCP forms the center for data exchange between modules and flight simulator (throug Project Magenta).
Each module is provided with 5 pole cable and is ready to be used without need any software configuration.

Based on a 16 bit microcontroller, MCP737PRO comes with 5 optical and 1 mechanical encoders able
to command all knob functions you may find on a real Boeing 737 Mode Control Panel.
The panel is equipped with: 14 backlighted pushbuttons; 3 round pushbutton to select CO, ALT INT and SPEED INT functions,
Electromagnetic Auto Throttle ARM switch with green led indicator; two Flight Director switches with "MA" amber led indicator;
Vertical Speed thumb wheel and flat disengage lever. All selected values are shown through white 7 segments white LED displays.
The flash memory technology of the microcontroller gives you a simple way to upgrade the built-in
operating program (Firmware). This feature is useful for update your MCP with improvement
and future expansion.

The front panel (dimensions 471 mm width and 73 mm height) is backlighted.
The backlight does not require any external addition,
everything is built-in the MCP
and the control is directly given by Flight Simulator instrument light status or connecting an external
switch to the related input ( refer to the MCP737PRO manual; External backlight control section ).

| PROGRAM MODE |
|
The MCP737PRO firmware provide an intenal program mode to configure the main preferences
in the hardware functionality. No need PC software program to configure the MCP737PRO hardware.
In program mode you can set how to control the BACKLIGHT (internal or external) the DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS and some other functions.

| AUXILIARY CONNECTIONS |
|
Besides the 5 pole expansion socket, the MCP737PRO dispose the auxiliary input to connect switches/pushbuttons
for an external A/T disengage, external TO/GA and external backlight control.
A 34 pole connector is also disposed for future development.
